Conference to Honor Our Own John D’Emilio
On September 11 and 12, the Department of History will co-sponsor a symposium on the life's work of our recently retired Professor John D'Emilio. Stanford University's Estelle Freedman will give the keynote lecture at 7pm on Thursday, September 11, and an entire day of panels will be held Friday, September 12 honoring and evaluating D'Emilio's contributions and reflecting on the state of the fields he labored so hard in, most especially LGBT History and the History of Sexuality.
