McCloskey to win 4 honorary degrees

Congratulations to Professor Deirdre McCloskey, who is set to receive four honorary degrees from prestigious institutions around the world.  McCloskey, an economist and economic historian, is in the middle of writing a six-volume tome on the Age of the Bourgeoisie.  This is in addition to the 14 previous books she has written. In addition to being a UIC Distinguished Professor, she is also the Guest Professor of Economic History in the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and Extraordinary Professor at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa.  Her latest honorary degrees include:
